When Landon was born, on April 20th, 2009, his small intestine had twisted and died. The doctors told us Landon would not survive. God intervened and we learned Landon could survive with a small intestine transplant. He lost his small intestine and doctors kept him alive on total intravenous nutrition for more than two years. He received a transplant on June 17th, 2011 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. This blog records the continuing story and miracle of Landon.

Jeremiah and Shelly just got back from checking out the Ronald McDonald House. They are very happy with the accomodations and all that they provide. They will be moving over there this evening.
