When Landon was born, on April 20th, 2009, his small intestine had twisted and died. The doctors told us Landon would not survive. God intervened and we learned Landon could survive with a small intestine transplant. He lost his small intestine and doctors kept him alive on total intravenous nutrition for more than two years. He received a transplant on June 17th, 2011 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. This blog records the continuing story and miracle of Landon.

thanks for the update, and Eldon, feel free to be a man who cries when he has to. I appreciate your realness and how much you guys are helping and taking care of Jeremiah and Shelly and the kids! Blessings on you all! We're praying for you all and that Landon will surprise everyone with his amazing sucking and swallowing skills!!
I am praying for Landon every time I pray. I love this little booger so much and will do anything to help him or the family that I can. I wanted to see him this weekend so bad but I was not feeling well this morning and I will not risk giving him anything. And for the comment about the man card, ONLY REAL MEN CRY!!!!! I love you guys.
