When Landon was born, on April 20th, 2009, his small intestine had twisted and died. The doctors told us Landon would not survive. God intervened and we learned Landon could survive with a small intestine transplant. He lost his small intestine and doctors kept him alive on total intravenous nutrition for more than two years. He received a transplant on June 17th, 2011 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. This blog records the continuing story and miracle of Landon.

Early start to Monday's adventure in Boston!
Waking up on Monday and ready to go!
We all had a chance to rest up before we have to be at the hospital today. It's still rainy and cool. I believe things should clear up by Wednesday or Thursday.
